“Oil prices have been quite volatile and plunged today along with stock prices, but there’s no way to know yet whether that will be significant or long-lasting enough to affect prices at the pump,” said Auto Club spokesperson Jeffrey Spring. “Consumers can save money on gas by carpooling and using their most fuel-efficient vehicle whenever possible, as well as aggressively seeking out the lowest-priced gasoline along their route by using online tools such as AAA.com/Triptik and the Triptik Mobile app for iPhone and Droid users.”
