A Loma Linda resident, who is a co-owner of a precious metal business in Orange County, is the middle of a court battle after being accused of bilking customers out of $4 million.
Sharief “Sharice” McDowell of Loma Linda and partners Todd Krejci of Trabuco Canyon and Bharat “Brad” Adatia of San Juan Capistrano own and operate the Laguna Niguel based 20/20 Precious Metals and 20/20 Trading.
In April, a U.S. District Judge Josephine Staton Tucker froze their assets and named a receiver to take over the business, according to the Orange County Register.
