Loma Linda Medical Center's Noise Reduction Plan to Help Healing

The medical center has implemented the "Quietly Healing" program.

A new noise reduction initiative has been started at Loma Linda University Medical Center called “Quietly Healing.”

Noise is inevitable in hospitals. Studies show, however, that noise reduction is linked with increased healing and recovery and can decrease a patient’s length of stay.

Soon, you will see posters throughout the medical center, including patient care areas, highlighting the “Quietly Healing” initiative. We want to publicize our aim of reducing noise levels not only internally, but also to our visitors.
