Occupy Redlands to Host Candidate Meet & Greet Sunday at Ed Hales Park
The event is scheduled 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday May 20 in the downtown central business district at State Street and Fifth Street.
Members and organizers of Occupy Redlands plan to host a "Candidate Meet & Greet" on Sunday May 20 at Ed Hales Park in downtown Redlands.
Candidates running for California State Assembly, U.S. Congress, and County Supervisor have been invited to participate.
Occupy Redlands organizers this week said the following candidates have confirmed they will attend:

Rita Ramirez-Dean for Congress
Justin Kim for Congress
Neil Derry for Supervisor
Jim Bagley for Supervisor
Russ Warner for Assembly
"Get to know the candidates and how they stand on important issues," Occupy Redlands spokesman Keith Jackson said in an announcement. "This may be your only chance to see these candidates at one time."

Occupy Redlands bill themselves as "a group of citizens dedicated to improving the quality of life in our local community, the Inland Empire, America, and the World.
"We gather in solidarity with the ongoing protest in New York City, Occupy Wall Street, and the growing number of cities whose people will no longer sit back watching corporate and special interests run their government."
