7 From Houston Charged With 'Bank Jugging' In Torrance
The group from Texas has been charged with conspiring to follow and rob bank customers in Torrance, Van Nuys, and Rowland Heights.

REDONDO BEACH, CA – Seven people from Houston have been charged with conspiring to follow and rob bank customers, which is known as bank jugging, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office announced Monday. Arraignment for two of the defendants, Darrian Dejuan Haywood and Adrian Deon Caldwell, is scheduled for today in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Torrance Branch.
The defendants operated out of an Inglewood motel where they conspired to rob bank customers in Torrance, Van Nuys and Rowland Heights, according to the District Attorney's Office press release.
Those charged in the complaint are as follows, according to the District Attorney's Office:- Trey Natheniel Dickerson is charged with two counts of attempted second-degree robbery, one count of second-degree burglary of a vehicle and two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery. His maximum possible sentence is 35 years to life in state prison, plus a possible additional sentence of 19 years if convicted as charged.
- Sebastian Demond Glass is charged with two counts each of attempted second-degree robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery. His maximum possible sentence is 29 years and four months in state prison if convicted as charged.
- Shai Trymaine Fields is charged with two counts of attempted second-degree robbery, one count of second-degree burglary of a vehicle and two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery. His maximum possible sentence is 29 years in state prison if convicted as charged.
- Darrian Dejuan Haywood faces two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery. His maximum possible sentence is 21 years and four months in state prison if convicted as charged.
- Adrian Deon Caldwell is charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery. His maximum possible sentence is 19 years and four months in prison if convicted as charged.
- Cedric Fleming faces two counts of attempted second-degree robbery and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery. His maximum possible sentence is 36 years and four months in state prison if convicted as charged.
- Beshundra Tucker is charged with two counts of attempted second-degree robbery and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery. Her maximum possible sentence is 36 years and four months in state prison if convicted as charged.
Dickerson, Glass and Fields pleaded not guilty in January, and Fleming and Tucker pleaded not guilty in February. Their preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 27; the case remains under investigation by the Torrance Police Department.
