Well, I figured it would come. I have been banned from the South Redondo Facebook page. Steve Aspel and Greg Abramowitz "say" it is supposed to be a non-political business page. But then they publish articles on political activities that support their personal views.
When Abramowitz published a very biased attack piece Monday evening, I responded with some articles that provided counterpoint supported by references. Abramowitz or Aspel took down the articles almost immediately. When I commented that they were being one sided, bam, I was banned.
So if you frequent the page, beware of the political posts. They don't allow both sides of the story. It is apparent they are afraid to let residents know both sides of the issues.
Public debate is at the roots of our great nation. I believe the public is all the better when they can hear both sides of a debate. If you cannot rebut an opposing view, perhaps you are on the wrong side of an issue. Apparently Abramowitz and Aspel fear letting the South Redondo Facebook followers hear both sides.
