LA BASED NONPROFIT HOSTS 12TH ANNUAL FUNDRAISING EVENT, SET TO
RAISE $400,000 FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IMPACTED BY CANCER
The LA based 501(c)3 nonprofit, Walk With Sally, will host its 12th annual, White Light
White Night event on Saturday, July 28TH, 2018 from the Top of The Plaza at
Continental Park in El Segundo, CA. Long time community supporters, as well as major
corporate sponsors will all be in attendance to raise funds for children who have
experienced the trauma of losing a loved one to cancer.
"Excited to be in our 12th year, the continued support of the community gives us the
opportunity to provide our free support programs to children and families who are facing cancer together” said Walk With Sally's Founder, Nick Arquette. “If we reach our goal of raising $400,000 this
year, it will allow us to expand our efforts beyond Los Angeles for 2019; reaching even more families who may not know these services are available to them free of charge."
As Walk With Sally’s largest annual fundraiser, the funds raised during White Light
White Night allow the organization to fulfill its mission of providing mentorship and
support programs free of charge to children whose families have been impacted by
cancer. The nonprofit has set a record breaking goal of raising $400,000 this year.
The 12th annual event offers a live musical performance by artist, Belinda Carlisle, plus “A Taste of LA”
which features 25 of LA’s top-tier, celebrity chef-driven restaurants, as well as 35+ major corporate
sponsors including Tito’s handmade Vodka, Southbay BMW, Kendra Scott, Chevron,
CBRE, Plaza Bank and many more.
