South Bay Duo Open Online Store Emphasizing Slow Fashion
The Ryze Project emphasizes slow fashion – high quality products that will withstand the test of time (and fast trends).

REDONDO BEACH, CA – Ryze Project, a Torrance-based online retailer offering handmade accessories inspired by art, fashion, and design worlds of Europe, is launching a T-shirt series that merges the European and Southern California lifestyle. They partner with European makers to make jewelry, handbags, wallets, and scarves which place importance in craftsmanship and artistry for customers that care about supporting artists, the press release said.
Ryze, co-founded by Pascale Cardozo and Eva Zachova, emphasizes slow fashion – high quality products that will withstand the test of time (and fast trends).
"Mass produced products are missing personality, the human touch and uniqueness,” Zachova, co-founder of Ryze Project, said in a statement. “At Ryze Project we invest in quality, timeless pieces that not only possess a meaningful backstory, but can withstand the wear and tear of life."

The company is launching a T-shirt series on March 20, the first day of Spring, to celebrate handmade goods and the slow fashion movement. The first design reads "poco a poco" – which translates to "little by little" in Spanish. This saying comes from Spain, where the co-founders met, and speaks to Ryze's commitment to slow fashion, the press release said.

Living by the Spanish saying means to experience your surroundings and people close to you in a connected way; to create and live an authentic life means doing it little by little, the press release said.

"I was very impacted by the European way of living slowly while I was in Spain for 6 years. When moving to Los Angeles, it was important for my husband and I to find a place that had this same feeling of peace," co-founder Cardozo said in a statement. "We find it essential to enjoy the little things in life and this can only be done while living little by little. This is why we bought a home here in the South Bay."
All of Ryze Project makers are debuting their products within the United States market exclusively via their website, which is now live and available for consumers to visit and shop. For more information about Ryze Project, visit www.RyzeProject.com.
