• Suspect arrested in connection with San Bruno shooting (eastbaytimes.com) — A San Francisco man suspected in a Thursday night shooting in San Bruno has been arrested and booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility in Redwood City. Police say he's a convicted felon and allegedly discharged a firearm near El Camino Real and San Marco Avenue, where officers later recovered shell casings, ammunition, and an unregistered gun but reported no injuries.
   

• Redwood City: San Mateo County Historical Association Receives $1 Million Donation For History Museum (newsbreak.com) — A major $1 million gift is helping finish a new rooftop terrace at the San Mateo County History Museum in downtown Redwood City, expanding space for community and civic events. Residents can preview parts of the multiyear expansion at a free "History in Motion" celebration on November 7, featuring the new carriage house, automobile gallery, and refreshed local history exhibits.
