Major Injuries, No Deaths in Crash Near Peninsula Airport: UPDATE
BREAKING: The crash was reported Friday morning when a driver slammed into a parked car, according to the CHP.

UPDATE 10 A.M. — CHP officials tell Patch that a person has been transported to Stanford Hospital with major injuries following a crash this morning near a local airport.
"It originally came out as a fatality, but there was some miscommunication," according to CHP Officer Art Montiel.
Investigators are looking into whether drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — A deadly crash has been reported on the Peninsula this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP says the incident was reported at 5:48 a.m. near Cornell Avenue and Airport Street in the Half Moon Bay area.
CHP logs indicate a gray El Camino crashed into a parked car. The coroner was called to the scene at 6:26 a.m.
No other injuries were immediately reported.
