Duo Accused In 2 Peninsula Commercial Burglaries In 2 Days

BREAKING: Sheriff's officials say the men are linked to two commercial burglaries.

SAN CARLOS, CA -- Two Belmont men were arrested in an early-morning break-in in San Carlos on Wednesday, after they were allegedly spotted by police running back and forth between their vehicle and a business while hauling stolen construction materials. Both Gregory Brunner, 31, and Bryn Walmisley, 36, were ultimately arrested on suspicion of commercial burglary, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to an address in the 1100 block of Industrial Road around 3:15 a.m. and saw two men carrying construction materials, according to sheriff's Det. Salvador Zuno. Once apprehended, authorities connected the suspects to another similar theft in San Carlos from two days prior.

"During the on scene investigation both subjects were found to be in possession of stolen property, burglary tools and evidence of their involvement in a previous commercial burglary that occurred in the 900 block of Washington Street in the City of San Carlos on July 24, 2017,"
