Fatal Peninsula Shooting Probed

SAN MATEO, CA — A fatal shooting that occurred Friday morning in the 1600 block of Eleanor Drive is being investigated as a homicide, San Mateo police said.
The shooting occurred at 9:40 a.m., police said.
“At this time, detectives have learned this was a targeted and isolated incident,” the San Mateo Police Department said in a statement.
