Major Injuries Reported as Vehicle Strikes Redwood City Tree
Police say a man and woman were both hospitalized in the wreck.

REDWOOD CITY, CA- Police are investigating a solo vehicle crash that occurred over the weekend in Redwood City, sending two people to the hospital.
According to police, officers responded around 2 a.m. Sunday to reports of a vehicle that had struck a tree at westbound Woodside Road at Spring Street.
Police said officers arrived and found the vehicles two occupants, a male and female, suffering from major injuries. The victims were transported to a local hospital, however their condition is unknown at this time.

Information on whether or not drugs or alcohol played a role in this incident has not yet been released.
Police said Woodside Road was closed Sunday from Bay Road to Middlefield Road as officers investigated the incident.
