Man Fatally Stabbed In Neck On The Peninsula, Suspect Nabbed: Sheriff's Dept.

BREAKING: Sheriff's officials say they arrived at the scene to find a man bleeding from a stab wound to his neck.

HALF MOON BAY, CA -- A man has been arrested in connection to the deadly stabbing of another man in a violent fight that occurred in front of a Half Moon Bay residence this week, sheriff's officials say. The incident happened around 7 p.m. Thursday in the 800 block of Main Street, according to sheriff's Det. Zalvador Zuno.

According to Zuno, authorities were called to the location for a fight in progress.

"Once deputies arrived they found two men down on the ground in front of a residence," Zuno said in a news release. "One of the men was bleeding from a stab wound to his neck."

"Deputies and personnel from Cal Fire provided medical attention to the injured person however, he did not survive his injury," he said.

The other man who was involved in the fight was arrested on suspicion of murder, Zuno said.

Sheriff's officials aren't yet releasing identifying information for either individual, only that they are both males in their 50s.

"Due to the ongoing investigation no other details on the victim or suspect are being given at this time," Zuno said.
