Man Rescued After Fall Down Cliff in San Mateo County
Rescue happened in the area of San Gregorio State Beach, officials said.

A man was rescued on Saturday evening after he fell down a cliff in San Gregorio, an unincorporated community in San Mateo County, a sheriff’s spokeswoman said Sunday.
Shortly before 7:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to a report of a cliff rescue on Cabrillo Highway and La Honda Road in the area of San Gregorio State Beach, San Mateo County sheriff’s Deputy Rebecca Rosenblatt said.

Crews were able to descend to a 29-year-old man who fell about 30 feet down the side of a cliff, she said.
Once he was rescued, the man was assessed by crews and did not require further assistance, according to Rosenblatt.
