Meeting Planned for Displaced Redwood City Residents
Residents of flooded mobile home parks are encouraged to attend.

A meeting is planned Tuesday evening for residents of two Redwood City mobile home parks who were displaced by flooding in December and may have an opportunity to seek assistance in repairing their homes.
The city of Redwood City and Rebuilding Together, a nonprofit with offices in San Francisco and San Jose, are hosting the meeting this evening at the Fair Oaks Community Center.

Authorities ordered a mandatory evacuation of the Le Mar Trailer Park and RC Mobile Home Park due to flooding after heavy rains on Dec. 11. City officials later announced that the parks had been red-tagged.
Tuesday evening’s meeting will focus on how displaced residents can apply for assistance for certain repairs from Rebuilding Together, according to a flyer circulated by Redwood City.

The meeting takes place at 7 p.m. in the community center located at 2600 Middlefield Road in Redwood City.
