• Menlo Park Joins Growing List of Bay Area Cities Reining in Flock Cameras (kqed.org) — Redwood City residents should know their police department found multiple improper outside searches of its Flock license plate camera data dating back to 2023, including FBI queries enabled without local permission. While officials say no results were returned before cameras were installed, later miscategorized agencies and even Flock itself accessed Redwood City data, as nearby cities and institutions reconsider or cancel Flock contracts. 
• FDA clears Revolution Medicines' targeted pancreatic cancer pill (statenews.net) — A Redwood City–based biotech company just won FDA approval for Rasonque, a first-in-class pill for adults with previously treated metastatic pancreatic cancer. The once-daily drug, which significantly extended survival in a major study, targets multiple RAS protein forms and was fast-tracked under a federal priority program, though pricing and availability details are still pending.
