Pedestrian Identified in Deadly Menlo Park Crash
Police say a person was struck by a car in Menlo Park over the weekend.
MENLO PARK, CA- A pedestrian fatally struck by a car in Menlo Park on Saturday morning has been identified by the San Mateo County coroner’s office as 41-year-old Palo Alto resident Amit Bagchi.
The collision was reported at about 6:45 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Sand Hill Road and Santa Cruz Avenue, according to Menlo Park police. Bagchi was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Police are continuing to investigate the collision and did not release the name of the driver whose car struck Bagchi.
