Peninsula Man Arrested On Suspicion of Meth Trafficking
A traffic stop led to the seizure of over a pound of methamphetamine, police said.
SAN MATEO, CA — A San Mateo man suspected of being in possession of a pound of methamphetamine was arrested during a traffic stop Saturday, police said.
Police identified Aaron Hasson a being on probation for drug sales during a traffic stop near South Norfolk Avenue and Fashion Island Boulevard at around 10:30 p.m., police said.
Under terms of his probation police said they searched his car and found over a pound of methamphetamine, a large amount of cash, multiple cellphones, and a scale.

Hasson, 39, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance for sale, transportation of a controlled substance and committing a felony while on bail, police said.
Hasson received a felony citation and was subsequently released due to COVID-19 jail restrictions, police said.
