Peninsula Sex Offender Exposes Self To Girl,16, Out Walking: Cops
Police say the girl spotted the registered sex offender "masturbating while exposing himself to her" when she was out walking in town.

SAN MATEO, CA — A sex offender is jailed Wednesday, accused of exposing himself to a teenage girl this week in San Mateo. Cristian Morales, 35, was arrested Monday following the incident, according to San Mateo Police.
A 16-year-old girl was walking around 5:55 p.m. on the roundabout near the Monte Diablo Avenue and Amphlett Boulevard pedestrian overcrossing "...when she noticed a man masturbating while exposing himself to her," police reported. The girl headed home and called police to let them know what she'd seen.
Police found Morales at the location and matched him to the description provided by the girl, officials said.

"Morales is known to our officers as he has an arrest history similar in nature and is a 290 registrant," police said. "Morales was identified as the suspect that exposed himself."
He was taken to the county jail and booked on suspicion of indecent exposure and annoying or molesting a child under 18 with a prior conviction, records show. His bail was set at $100,000.

The California Megan's Law website lists Morales as being "in violation" of his registrant requirements. He was convicted in 2015 of annoying or molesting a child under 18, according to the site.
