Peninsula Shooting Leaves One Dead: Police

Police say that they found a person dead inside of a local home over the weekend.

PACIFICA, CA – A man was found shot dead inside of a Pacifica residence over the weekend, police report. The man, a 23-year-old who has not been publicly identified, was discovered around 12:30 a.m. Saturday in the 700 block of Big Bend Drive, according to the Pacifica Police Department.

Details surrounding the death are limited at this time, but police did say they were provided some information from witnesses.

"Subjects who were at the scene provided statements to investigators," police said in a news release. "While it was determined that there was no threat to public safety, the investigation is on-going."
