The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office has released videos of three suspects who were caught on camera following a local burglary in the hopes that someone may recognize them.
The crime happened on Friday in Palomar Park in unincorporated Redwood City, according to Det. Salvador Zuno of the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.

The videos show the suspects, two females and a male, and a dark colored 2015 Toyota Yaris 4-door hatchback. The suspects parked the car in front of the garage at the residence in the 600 block of Palomar Drive around 2:11 p.m., the sheriff’s office said.
One of the suspects forced entry into the garage through a locked side door and the three suspects stole several items of U.S. mail. They did not enter the main house which was secured, the sheriff’s office said.
The suspects then fled in the vehicle in an unknown direction after they searched the garage.
The homeowners were away at the time and discovered the damage— and the suspects caught on camera— when they returned, the sheriff’s office said.
“The victims provided Sheriff’s Office investigators with the video surveillance footage to assist in this ongoing investigation,” authorities said. “The investigators are asking the public to help identify these suspects and also be aware for any suspicious persons or vehicles in their neighborhood.”
Zuno said the burglary is believed to be an isolated incident, but residents should remain aware of their surroundings.
Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call sheriff’s detective Andy Armando at (650) 363-4357 or email Aarmando@smcgov.org. To remain anonymous, call the sheriff’s office at 1-800-547-2700.
