Redwood City Armed Robbery Probed

REDWOOD CITY, CA — Authorities are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store Wednesday night in unincorporated Redwood City, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

The incident occurred around 10 p.m. at the Quick Stop at the 3400 block of Middlefield Road, authorities said.

The suspect was allegedly brandishing a firearm when he demanded a victim’s property, authorities said.

Sheriff’s deputies are viewing reviewing video surveillance and checking for witnesses.
