Redwood City Burglary Suspected Arrested: Police
The alleged victim's window screen had been removed and his front window was open, according to police.
REDWOOD CITY, CA — A Redwood City burglary suspect has been arrested, police said.
Vashon Conway was arrested on suspicion of residential burglary, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and a probation violation, police said.
Police responding to a report of a residential burglary at an apartment complex on the 1100 block of Hilton Street at around 11:50 p.m. on Wednesday arrested the 40-year-old male suspect in front the building.

The alleged victim told police he’d been awakened by someone in his apartment before finding the suspect standing in his living room.
Police said the alleged victim’s window screen had been removed and his front window was open.

The suspect fled the apartment but was later positively identified by the alleged victim.
Conway was booked into the San Mateo County Jail according to police.
