Redwood City Man, 80, Tied To Indecent Exposure Case: Sheriff's Dept.

SAN CARLOS, CA – An elderly Redwood City man has been identified in an indecent exposure case in which he's accused of exposing himself to a woman in the parking lot of a Peninsula park. The man, whose name was not released, is 80.

According to the San Mateo County sheriff's department, the man was located on Tuesday following the Friday incident, which occurred around 11:15 a.m. in the parking lot at Arguello Park at 260 Wellington Drive.

A man exposed his genitals to an adult female victim, then got into a silver sedan and drove away, sheriff's officials said.

"While investigating this incident, Sheriff’s Office Detectives were able to identify and locate the man
involved, as an 80 year old, Redwood City resident," the sheriff's department said in a news release Wednesday. "He is fully cooperating with investigators and no arrests have been made at this time."

Officials added that there are no outstanding suspects in the case, which remains under investigation.
