Redwood City Street Shooting Injures 2: Police
BREAKING: Sheriff's officials say the victims were specifically targeted.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — San Mateo County sheriff's officials are looking for a man who shot two others in the Redwood City area. The shooting, which is currently believed to be gang-related, happened in broad daylight Friday, according to officials.
San Mateo County Sheriff's Det. Sal Zuno said deputies were called around 11:45 a.m. Friday to the area of Marlborough and Berkshire avenues in the unincorporated area of Redwood City. There, they found two men who had been shot.
"Investigators learned that as the two victims were walking, they were approached by an unknown male suspect who shot them," Zuno said in a news release. "The suspect then fled in an unknown vehicle."

Zuno said the men "were specifically targeted" in the crime.
"Sheriff’s Office Deputies have increased patrols in this area and are reminding the public to report any suspicious activity," the detective said in a news release. "At this point, there is no suspect information and the investigation is still ongoing."
