Police say the man was attempting to carry out a drug deal in the parking lot of a local BevMo when he was "shot several times."

REDWOOD CITY, CA — Redwood City police are asking for the public's help finding a group of four people — three men and one woman — accused of shooting a man during a marijuana drug sale in a local parking lot over the weekend. The incident left the man in critical condition, officials said.

The four suspects left the scene in a black, four-door sedan that appeared similar in shape to a Honda, police said. Two are described as black men between 20-25 years old, with slender builds. One man has short natural hair and was armed with a handgun and the other had black "Faux-Hawk" hair and was not armed, according to police.
The other two suspects were a male and female with no detailed descriptions available.
The shooting victim was taken to a local hospital, where he underwent a "life-saving surgery" and was last listed in critical but stable condition, according to police.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Redwood City police Detective Joe O'Gorman at (650) 780-7147.
