Missing Silicon Valley Girl Found 120 Miles From Home, Police Say [UPDATE]
BREAKING: Police say the girl was found near the Sacramento area Thursday afternoon.

UPDATE 3:45 P.M. – Mountain View police say an area teen who was missing for more than a day was found safe Thursday afternoon several hours from home. Myra Renteria was found in Woodland, near Sacramento, some 120 miles from Mountain View.
Police did not say how the girl was located.
"Thank you all for your help to spread the word and bring her home safe," MVPD tweeted at 3:33 p.m.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — Mountain View Police say they need your help locating 13-year-old Myra Renteria. She was last seen leaving Crittenden Middle School early Wednesday and remains missing as of Thursday afternoon, according to the police department.

"Myra may have taken public transportation out of the area, and we are asking anyone who has seen her or may have information on her whereabouts to call us as soon as possible at 650-903-6395," Mountain View police said on Facebook.
She's described as a being 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing about 105 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
