Suspect In Three Separate RWC Attacks Arrested

REDWOOD CITY, CA – A Redwood City man suspected of three separate attacks over the past six weeks has been arrested according to the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office.
Tristan Francis Mackreth, 39, is a transient with a history of mental illness, District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe said.
Mackreth allegedly punched a jogger in the face June 19 at El Camino Real and Brittan Ave. in San Carlos.

He allegedly shouted a racial epithet at a motorist and struck their car with a piece of wood causing an estimated $2,000 in damage in a July 11 incident at Middlefield Raod and Mayfield Street.
Mackreth allegedly punched another person in a July 27 incident on El Camino Real and Jefferson Avenue., causing a laceration over the victim’s left eye and breaking his glasses.

Mackreth was being held on $30,000 bail as of Thursday morning.
