Today An All Mail In Election Allows For Universal Polling Place Voting

Just in case you lost or misplaced your ballot, if you are registered you can still vote at one of 32 universal polling places.

An all mail in election is all mail-in until the last day when in fact things change drastically. The last day, in this case today, Tuesday, November 3rd, there will actually be 32 universal voting places throughout the county. Although you can still vote by mail, so long as the post office stamps it as being mailed November 3rd and it is received by the county by November 6th.

So if you didn’t receive your ballot, lost it or simply can’t find it; today you can do it the old fashioned way you can go to a polling place. No it won’t be your standard local polling place, instead there are 32 universal polling places countywide. In Redwood City we actually have five:

But the difference this year is you don’t even have to vote in Redwood City. All 32 county voting places have the electronic means to allow all the county residents to vote at their locations but only in the races that are applicable to them. 8:05 p.m. Vote by Mail ballots received before Election Day

8:30 p.m. Vote by Mail Results Update

9:00 p.m. Voting Center Results

9:30 p.m. Universal Polling Place Results

10:00 p.m. Universal Polling Place Results

10:30 p.m. Final election night report
