Trio of Juvenile Burglars Linked to Trio of Woodside Crimes: Sheriff's Office
BREAKING: Sheriff's officials say they have caught a group of serial thieves. "Alert Citizen" is credited with their capture.

WOODSIDE, CA – An alert resident is being crediting with foiling a recent burglary by three young boys in Woodside, sheriff's officials said Tuesday.
The incident happened around 10:40 p.m. Dec. 6, when a witness spotted three male juveniles in red jackets running in the area of Woodside Drive towards Alameda De Las Pulgas, according to sheriff's Det. Sal Zuno.
Sheriff's officials went out to the scene, and spotted three youth who matched the description – allegedly finding property that had just been stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Woodside Drive, Zuno said.

The boys were arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property and conspiracy, sheriff's officials said. They were taken to the San Mateo County Youth Services Center without incident.
Detectives linked the three boys to two other residential burglaries in Woodside, sheriff's officials said.

"Great work by the alert citizen who, 'Saw something and said something'," Zuno said.
