VIDEO: Skaters Illuminate the Ice in "Ice Pop"
Skaters from all over the Bay Area performed Sunday in the 2011 annual spring show at the Redwood City Ice Theatre.
Move over, Michelle Kwan. These skaters' double axels and triple lutzes had crowds marveling at the young performers' talent on Sunday.
When students take classes from Redwood City Ice Theatre at the , their hard work culminates into dazzling performances each spring at the annual show "Ice Pop." The show was also a fundraiser to raise money for their next performance.
The team recently competed in the United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA) Nationals for ice theatre and won a bronze medal, advancing to the international competitions to represent the US.
