WWII-era RPG Found at Abandoned Silicon Valley Building: Police
The discovery prompted a brief scare on Friday, until the local bomb squad deemed it inactive.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA -- A bomb squad determined a suspicious package Friday at an abandoned building in Mountain View posed no danger, police said.
Police reported at 10:30 a.m. that the area around a building in the 200 block of Hope Street is safe.
The package was an old military device, according to police.
Officers first reported the package on Twitter at 9:04 a.m. Police evacuated businesses surrounding the 200 block of Hope Street, which is near the Mountain View Caltrain station, because of the package.
