Young Redwood City Boy, 4, Dead In Hot Tub Incident
BREAKING: The boy was apparently on vacation when the tragic incident happened.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — A young Redwood City boy died over the weekend in an apparent drowning at a Lake Tahoe resort, officials report. The 4-year-old child, who has not been publicly identified, was found Sunday afternoon in a hot tub.
The boy was at a resort near Lake Tahoe in Stateline, Nevada when the deadly incident occurred. Deputies responded at 1:27 p.m. to a report of a toddler found in a hot tub at the Montbleu Resort Casino & Spa, Douglas County sheriff's spokeswoman Sgt. Bernadette Smith said.
Deputies arrived and performed CPR on the boy, who was taken to a hospital but was later pronounced dead, Smith said.

She said the death is being investigated as an accidental drowning. The boy's name was not immediately released.
