• Ford Mustangs Allegedly Street Race Next to Cop Car, Police Roll Out 'Fast & Furious' Jokes (roadandtrack.com) — Rocklin Police say two Ford Mustang drivers were caught allegedly street racing along Wildcat Boulevard at about 75 mph in a 45-mph zone—right in front of a marked patrol car. Officers issued citations, contacted parents, and hinted the drivers may face DMV reexaminations, while having some fun with Fast & Furious jokes on social media. 
• California man indicted following probe into threats against White House UFC event (cbsnews.com) — A Rocklin resident has been federally indicted after investigators tied him to online discussions around an alleged plot targeting a June UFC event at the White House, as well as possible attacks on California tech sites. Prosecutors say he's charged with being a felon in possession of firearms and destroying records in a federal investigation, with potential prison time and fines if convicted.
