• Merchants Capital Provides $193M in Financing for Two Affordable Housing Projects in Rocklin, California (rebusinessonline.com) — Hundreds of new affordable apartments are coming to Rocklin as Merchants Capital finances The Frances and The Steven, two major developments adding 504 units for families and seniors. Construction is underway, with completions expected in 2028 and 2029, and amenities ranging from pools and dog parks to on-site support services for older adults. 
• Patrick Owen Sullivan (martinezgazette.com) — Rocklin friends and neighbors are invited to honor longtime resident Patrick Owen Sullivan at a Celebration of Life on October 16 at Old St. Mary's Chapel on Front Street. The 66-year-old technical writer, nature lover, and devoted family man passed away in Rocklin on August 1 from complications of Alport's Syndrome.
• Roseville to Lake Tahoe Movies: Films Worth Watching (rosevilletoday.com subscription) — If you've ever thought a movie scene looked like home, you're right—Placer County locations, including Rocklin, have appeared in dozens of films, from classics to newer titles. A 2017 movie called "MAMABOY" was filmed in Rocklin, highlighting how local streets and scenery continue to attract Hollywood productions and boost regional visibility.

- I have question for you all… Many years ago, there was a place for us to take our American flags, when they became faded and tattered… when I was a kid I heard you take them to the Fire Department, they would dispose of them with the Honor it
deserves…. Well, I have such a flag, I took it , folded properly, to Rocklin Fire Department…. They do not take them… Does anybody on here know the… (Nextdoor Sunset Creekside) - Anyone know of a wildlife place that will trap and relocate an active skunk?
