10 Arrested At DUI Checkpoints In Sonoma County

Arrests were made for suspected driving under the influence, no licenses and warrants, police said.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA -- Police in Sonoma County released the results of a DUI checkpoint held on Friday in the cities of Healdsburg and Cloverdale.

According to police, 333 vehicles went through the checkpoint that was first set up to screen southbound drivers on South Cloverdale Boulevard and South Franklin Street and later southbound drivers on Healdsburg Avenue just south of Mill Street from 7:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Police said of the 333 vehicles that entered, 322 were screened for signs of driving under the influence and license checks, one driver was arrested for an outstanding warrant, four for driving with a suspended
license and three for driving with no license.

Two drivers, Eduardo Gonsales-Simon, 40, of Santa Rosa and Rosalio Nava, 34, of Windsor were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, according to police.
