Missing Elderly Man With Dementia Found: Rohnert Park Police
Search and rescue efforts were launched for Brian Przyborowski, 73, who was considered "at-risk." He has since been found, police said.

ROHNERT PARK, CA — UPDATED: Police in Rohnert Park located a missing "at-risk" elderly man Wednesday night after issuing a Silver Alert and deploying search-and-rescue personnel in their efforts to find him. Brian Przyborowski, 73, was considered "at-risk" missing because he suffers from dementia, Parkinson's disease and depression, according to officials with the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety.
Police said Przyborowski was last seen at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2 on Heath Circle in Rohnert Park, which is in the area of Golf Course Drive, Hillview Way and Snyder Lane near Marguerite Hahn Elementary School.
At 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, DPS officials advised that search-and-rescue personnel wearing orange jumpsuits may be going through backyards in their effort to locate the missing man.

It was not immediately known how wide of an area authorities searched.
At 9:30 p.m., police said Przyborowski had been found.

Przyborowski is white and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, gray sweatpants and black shoes.
He was described as 6 feet tall, with brown eyes and white shoulder-length hair as well as facial hair, a family member told Patch.
The family member said he took out the garbage and did not come back inside.
He had not gone missing prior to Wednesday, the family member said.
Police asked anyone who saw Przyborowski or could safely help find him to call Rohnert Park DPS at 707-584-2612.
