One Arrested After Alleged Knife Fight In Rohnert Park

The incident was at a residence in the "A" section east of Highway 101 and south of Enterprise Drive.

Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety officers arrested a Santa Rosa man on suspicion of attacking another man with a knife late Monday night. The officers responded at 11:45 p.m. to a report of a fight involving weapons between two men at a residence in the “A” section of Rohnert Park just east of U.S. Highway 101 and south of Enterprise Drive.

They found one man with a laceration covered in blood, but the other man was no longer at the scene. Emergency medical responders controlled the man’s bleeding and took him to a hospital. He suffered severe injuries but is expected to survive, public safety officers said.

The victim identified the suspect as Joshua Henricksen, 25, of Santa Rosa. Public safety officers broadcast a description of the suspect and his vehicle and an officer eventually found Henricksen covered in blood in his vehicle.

Officers arrested Henricksen on suspicion of attempted murder and he was booked into Sonoma County Jail under $1 million bail. Investigators are still processing multiple crime scenes and are not disclosing the name of the victim or the reporting party.
