Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety officers arrested a Santa Rosa man on suspicion of attacking another man with a knife late Monday night. The officers responded at 11:45 p.m. to a report of a fight involving weapons between two men at a residence in the “A” section of Rohnert Park just east of U.S. Highway 101 and south of Enterprise Drive.
They found one man with a laceration covered in blood, but the other man was no longer at the scene. Emergency medical responders controlled the man’s bleeding and took him to a hospital. He suffered severe injuries but is expected to survive, public safety officers said.
The victim identified the suspect as Joshua Henricksen, 25, of Santa Rosa. Public safety officers broadcast a description of the suspect and his vehicle and an officer eventually found Henricksen covered in blood in his vehicle.
