Rohnert Park Reminder: The Wheres and Whens of Traffic Projects
Two projects are starting Monday.

From the City of Rohnert Park:
TRAFFIC UPDATE - ROHNERT PARK EXPRESSWAY TREE WORK
LOCATION: Rohnert Park Expressway between Commerce Boulevard and Snyder Lane
CONSTRUCTION START: January 26, 2015
DURATION: Approximately 1 week
WORK BEING DONE: Mountain F will be trimming trees on Rohnert Park Expressway in the median between Commerce Boulevard and Snyder Lane in advance of the planned overlay of Rohnert Park Expressway.

TRAFFIC UPDATE - ADRIAN DRIVE WATER AND SEWER PROJECT
LOCATION: Adrian Drive between East Cotati and Santa Barbara
CONSTRUCTION START: Week of January 26
DURATION: Approximately 2 weeks
WORK BEING DONE: Cats4U and Team Ghilotti will be completing the final paving along Adrian Drive. Road closures will begin on Wednesday, January 28.
The work will require street closures and limited parking. Residents will be notified 72 hours in advance of parking restrictions. The City appreciates your patience as this work is completed.

TRAFFIC UPDATE - SNYDER LANE WIDENING PROJECT
LOCATION: Snyder Lane between Southwest Boulevard and Jasmine Circle
CONSTRUCTION START: Early February 2015
DURATION: Approximately 4 months
WORK BEING DONE: The City, with the school district’s permission, will be removing approximately 50 trees to allow for the widening of Snyder Lane. PG&E is expected to begin its work that will result in the undergrounding of overhead utilities in the same corridor.

TRAFFIC UPDATE - ROHNERT PARK EXPRESSWAY WATER MAIN
LOCATION: Rohnert Park Expressway from Snyder Lane to Petaluma Hill Road
CONSTRUCTION START: 1/19/15
DURATION: Approximately 5 months, through May 2015. (Inclement weather may prolong this timeframe.)
WORK BEING DONE: Argonaut Constructors is under contract with Brookfield Homes to install new utilities

On all of these projects, there will be lane closures and occasional traffic delays. Traffic control measures will be in place to move vehicles through the work zone in a safe manner. Pedestrian traffic control measures will also be implemented, including detours to adjacent sidewalks.
For your safety and the safety of the workers, please observe a 25 MPH speed limit through the construction area. Emergency access will be available at all times.
The City of Rohnert Park and the construction team greatly appreciate the public’s cooperation and patience during these disruptions.
