Rohnert Park Residents Invited To Bucket Brigade Blood Drive
There's a critical need this year, as many local blood drives were canceled because of fires and smoky air, said Fire Marshal Jim Thompson.

ROHNERT PARK, CA — Rohnert Park Fire Marshal Jim Thompson invites the community to participate in the 13th annual Bucket Brigade Blood Drive this Saturday.
The Bucket Brigade Challenge is a competition between local fire departments to bring in lifesaving blood during the holiday season, and this year there is a critical need as many local blood drives were canceled because of fires and smoky air, Thompson said.
During the Rohnert Park event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 5 at Fire Station No. 2, 5200 Country Club Dr., blood donors will receive lunch donated by Sally Tomatoes.
