Suspect Sought In North Bay Bank Robbery

The suspect was described as a 6-foot-2-inch white man who wore a black mask, police said.

ROHNERT PARK, CA — Police are searching for the suspect in a bank robbery Saturday in Rohnert Park.

Around 10:30 a.m. Saturday, a man wearing a black mask walked into the Bank of America branch off of Commerce Boulevard and demanded cash, the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety said.

The man, who said he a gun but did not show the weapon, was given an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The suspect was described as a 6-foot-2-inch white man wearing a plaid shirt with a black hood, a white T-shirt, blue or green pants, black framed sunglasses with orange lenses, a black mask and black gloves.

The suspect walked out of the bank and was not seen getting into a car.

Officers got statements from bank employees and collected evidence left at the scene, police said in a news release Sunday.
