• San Bernardino County Seeks Short-Term Dog Fosters Ahead Of Wings Of Rescue Flight (vvng.com) — San Bernardino County Animal Care is urgently seeking short-term foster homes so local dogs are healthy and ready for a Wings of Rescue transport flight on Saturday, Sept. 12. Supplies like food and crates are provided, and residents can also help by donating to the Animals aRe First Fund. Applications are handled through the county's Pet Foster Program webpage. 
• Hydrogen fuel cell electric buses roll out across the High Desert (vvdailypress.com) — San Bernardino residents who ride Victor Valley Transit commuter routes may soon notice new hydrogen fuel cell buses serving Interstate 15 trips into the city and to Cal State San Bernardino. The agency has begun phasing 13 zero-emission buses into regular service, collecting performance data while promising quieter rides and cleaner air across the High Desert and its long-distance commuter network.
