Emergency Responders Work To Handle Gas Leak Near 805 Freeway
Firefighters and emergency responders arrived at the scene of a natural-gas leak.

NORTH PARK, CA — San Diego Fire Department and other emergency responders arrived at the scene of a natural-gas leak west of Interstate 805 in North Park, the department shared.
Just after 1 p.m., firefighters arrived in the 4500 block of Idaho Street, just west of Interstate 805 and south of Madison Avenue in North Park, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
Just over one hour later, the incident was closed with no further comment.

There were no injuries or evacuations immediately reported in this incident, and further information will be added when it is released.
One supporting agency responded to the scene, and a total of two Battalion Chiefs and four Engines were on hand during the incident.
