Gelson's To Host Hiring Events In San Diego County

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — A Southern California-based supermarket is gearing up to hire hundreds of new people for dozens of positions next month.

Gelson's, which operates 27 full-service grocery stores across Los Angeles, San Diego and Orange counties will host a job fair in early April.

Gelson's has a total of 41 open positions at its San Diego area locations in Carlsbad, Del Mar and Pacific Beach.

At the Carlsbad location, the store at 7660 El Camino Real is looking to hire 19 people for the following positions:

At the Del Mar location, the store at 2707 Via De La Valle is looking to hire 14 people for the following positions:

• Assistant Manager
• Checker
• Clerks Helper
• Dishwasher
• Gelson's Kitchen Counter Employee
• Gelson's Kitchen Production Team Member
• Grocery Clerk
• Hot Food Chef
• Liquor Clerk
• Porter
• Meat Cutter

At the Pacific Beach location, the store at 730 Turquoise St. is looking to hire eight people for the following positions:

• Gelson's Kitchen Production Team Member
• Grocery Clerk
• Meat Clerk
• Porter
• Produce Clerk

The hiring event is set for 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. April 6. Applicants should check in at the front desk to be directed to the job fair.
