Increase Extends Streak Of Rising San Diego Gas Prices To 35 Days
The average price has risen $1.274 during the streak, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose three-tenths of a cent to a record $6.018 Tuesday, after back-to-back increases of two-tenths of a cent, the smallest increases during the 35-day streak of rising prices.
The average price has risen $1.274 during the streak, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 7.2 cents more than one week ago, $1.171 more than one month ago and $2.072 greater than one year ago.
"Los Angeles wholesale prices have been trending lower in the last few days, although they are still well above where they were a month ago," said Marie Montgomery, a public relations specialist with the Automobile Club of Southern California. "That may help to slow down or even reverse increases at the pump if the trend holds."
