2 San Francisco Residents Arrested In Drug Bust; 2 Others Sought

The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office said suspects sent meth-laced mail to the Maple Street Correctional Center​ for distribution.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- Two San Francisco suspects were among several people arrested in connection to a drug ring involving inmates at the Maple Street Correctional Center.

The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office said Rhiannon Lawler, 37, and Sara Regan, 34, both of San Francisco were among the inmates arrested at the Redwood City jail.

Two other San Francisco residents are at-large for their alleged participation in the drug ring where people would send meth-laced mail to the jail for distribution among the inmates. The suspects at-large are Ephraim Manlapaz, 44, and Nancy Sanchez, 32.

Three other inmates and one man were arrested:

  • Richard Wood, 44 of Daly City
  • Shelby Myers, 26, San Mateo
  • Peweli Pinkston, 27, East Palo Alto
  • Jean Stoller, 36, Pacifica

Two other suspects are also at-large:

  • Bridgette Chavis-Damon, 38, Redwood
  • Agnes Banquerifo-Taylor, 47, Pacifica

"This case highlights the ongoing commitment of the Sheriff's Office to running safe Correctional facilities," Captain Paul Kunkel of the Maple Street Correctional Center said. "We will continue to investigate and take action on any criminal activity that endangers the safety of our staff or the safety of the inmates in our custody."
