72-Year-Old Woman Dragged Down Stairs in Home Invasion Robbery

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Four masked men robbed three people at gunpoint in their home in San Francisco's Portola District on Friday evening, police said.

The victims, two of whom are elderly, were in their home around 7:15 p.m. Friday when four men wearing masks and armed with rifles and TEC-9 pistols entered through the garage, according to police.

The suspects demanded money of one victim, a 44-year-old man, and then dragged his mother, a 72-year-old woman, down the stairs before fleeing on foot with the money, police said.

The woman was taken to a hospital, but is expected to survive her injuries.

No arrests have been reported in the case as of this morning.
