NORTHERN CALIFORNIA — As the weekend wraps up, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.
But before we jump into Northern California's top stories, residents should know that more rain is expected mid-week and again this coming weekend.
"Quiet weather to begin the work week as high pressure builds overhead," NWS Bay Area forecasters wrote Monday. "A weak weather system brings some light rain towards mid-week with rain chances returning for the weekend. Temperatures will remain seasonally mild."

In other news, UC Berkeley's Central Sierra Snow Lab reported Sunday morning they received 9.6 inches of snow since Saturday morning. The National Weather Service said the North Bay received the most rain in the Bay Area this weekend, with up to 5.5 inches around Mount Tamalpais over a 48-hour period.
A Bay Area man was arrested on suspicion of 12 felony counts relating to sexual abuse of a child and lewd acts with a child. He was living in a home that included an unlicensed daycare.
