Elementary Students Get Earth Day Lessons
Lessons include better ways to reduce, recycle, reuse and compost.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Students at an elementary school in San Francisco's Parkside neighborhood will be getting a lesson in how to support the environment in recognition of Earth Day on Monday, according to officials with the San Francisco Unified School District.
Kids at Dianne Feinstein Elementary School will be visited by officials with the Department of the Environment at 11 a.m. where they will be taught how to better reduce, recycle, reuse and compost, district officials said.
A mural-wrapped Recology collection truck will also be on-hand at the school that is located at 2550 25th Avenue.
